Merry Christmas at our House
We were so grateful to have all the kids home for Christmas. Something we know might not be possible as they get older and the married kids have two families to celebrate with! We also got to go to church together and that was fun to show off the kids to our new ward family! We were happy to have Ben Holmes join us along with Brooke, and loved the time we got to spend together. The cold made it hard to want to be outside, so we enjoyed games, baking, eating and movies.
Girls shot- it only took twenty times...........
And twenty more..............Then it was the boys turn...
Then we coupled off...
Then we got who ever would stand long enough to get the shot!!..
Just a lovely group of people who enjoyed the spirit of Chrismas. On Christmas eve were surprised by a wonderful group of gifts left outside our door. After realizing there wasn't anyone at the door after it rang, we looked out into the dark and saw a pile of presents. There was a wrapped gift for Steve, Me, Errin and Amanda. We got coats, hats and boots, and a tie. Then gifts for decorating the house, and even cash!! WE just cried! Then the most touching for me, a plaque that read..."May you trust GOD that you are exactly where you are meant to be" We still don't know who gave it to us, and maybe it's better that we don't. But we feel so blessed to be surrounded by such great people, and feel so grateful to be here! Especially having our kids here with us. It was a very Merry Christmas at our house!
